Does anyone here have any actual experience of owning and running one of these?

    yes.

rather tinny, you can tell its cheap.

not a huge tank on it, nippy and best kept for runs round town. Dad had one as it has a huge space with the rear seats folded so he used it for work on the week then as a runabout on weekends.

Never had any issues with it. Not too expensive to look after either as it's a Vauxhall Agila?? With another skin (or vice versa) I think the Suzuki version is better specced though.

    5t.
What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?

Thank you. Reliability is a big consideration for what I intend.

Can someone tell me if the Agila is a rebadged Suzuki or vice versa? My guess would be it is a Suzuki design and manufacture.

Good for one thing and one thing only......... Wagon-R = Early warning to look for an overtaking spot, but thankfully you won't need much room because it's probably only doing 20mph (a bit like overtaking a fat cyclist then).

Is that your personal experience of driving one?

  • not the best innovation from suzuki i must admit, had the pleasure of having one for the day, nippy as a corsa 1.2 on the flat uphill you maybe disapointed as i was having to use 2nd gear all the time, i actually though the clutch may have been out on it, but the garage said it they are all like it.

space is pretty good. rear leg room could do with a bit more, you do feel a bit squished like your in the back of a tigra for example.

fuel was good for that day, fuel light was on wen they handed it me i didnt fill it and did approx 40 miles that day and the needle hardly moved.

parts easy to get for, nice small wheels so cheap on tyres.

    Thanks.:)

Rear seat room isn't a consideration but economy is.

The exact car in question is an automatic:cool:. I imagine the performance will be even slower. Not necessarily a concern for me.

I think that it's Vauxhall (GM) engines that are in them.... Just like the Splash and New Agila.

    Might be wrong though.

Re the over taking ours was a 1.2 it overtakes liek you'd expect for a 1.2

It's ok for a bit on the motorway but going over 70 feels a bit like thrashing it so best around town as said. If you do want to overtake things their is an initial bit of pep but it quickly runs out of steam so plan them properly. Given the fact they are fairly tall with skinny tyres they are certianly not sporty and don't make you want to push on.

If all you need is a low insurance, reliable motor to get from A to B with some luggage or passengers it'll be fine.
