Success - Halifax Mortgage PPI upheld

Hi All,
my first post,
get letter from halifax refusing ppi, saying that i applied for ppi when i got mortage in 2002 any chance if I take to FOS? Mortage was done through broker and i never been in branch to request for ppi insurance any help pls?

You havent said what your reasons for complaint were and the reasons they rejected. So, we cant say what chances you have until you tell us.Mortage was done through broker and i never been in branch to request for ppi insurance any help pls?
So, why are you complaining to Halifax?
Stastically your odds are low. The FOS stats for 2011/12 show that just 0.2% of mis-sold PPI came from advisers. Plus, as this is pre 2005, chances are you wont have access to the FOS anyway. Plus, you cannot go to the FOS without complaining to the firm first. You havent done that yet.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
