Hi,
Can anyone recommend a family game for a couple with a 4 and 2 yr old that would be fun for a couple of years. (I.e. when the 2 yr old gets slightly older).
Would you post your recommended game and age range?

Soundtracks went down very well when ours were 3 and 4 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Galt-America-LL10175-Soundtracks/dp/B000795NDI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1323942258&sr=8-1
As did Shopping List: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Orchard-Toys-003-Shopping-List/dp/B0007VTA5S/ref=sr_1_1?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1323942348&sr=1-1
They also loved the usual dominoes and pairs games.0 -
What bout the Disney Scene It games?
We bought ours when DD was 3, she's now 5 and she still loves it.
Because it comes with a DVD, she recognizes films she's watched, and she does know the answers to quite a few of the questions. There's also questions where you have to watch a clip and then answer, I'd say it would be appropriate for the children in question.

There's also a Disney pictionary Dvd game.

Either of those would be good. X0 -
Get a WII! Lots of different games available and its fun and active for all the family. (No matter hwat the age!)0

Frustration is great - any of those popping dice games work well with little children, and older ones can help them with the counting.0

Hungry hippos is fun as is kerplunk, probably not too difficult for the 2 year old. Pop up Pirate and Buckaroo are other good ones. We still play Ssshhhh don't wake Dad and little one could probably manage it with some help. Another big favourite was a massive box of building dominoes, not a game as such but can be if you all got involved, mine still play with those at almost 8 and 12.0

omg my DD got Buckaroo when she was about 4 - that bleeping mule was so sensitive we couldn't even load it up and set it back on its heels to start the game without it pinging forward and bucking all its equipment off!
It came out of the box twice before we all got completely fed up with it and sent it to the charity shop.0 -
I was going to say frustration but has already been said.
My son who is 3 loves to play a memory game and also the gator golf but only 2 players can play this unless mum goes with one and dad with the other.
Guess who is also good from about 4.0 -
