Damaged suitcase during flight

Hello, I returned from a flight from Bangkok (EVA Air) and I noticed that my suitcase was damaged (there were two cracks in the plastic shell). The airlines had the suitcase picked up by a courier and sent to the Samsonite repair agent in Britain (K2). The original RRP - confirmed by the agent was £360 (bought 5 years ago)…

It depends on the airline.

Eva-Air has a 7 days policy (but they won't refund you much).

With Easyjet you can only claim if you spot at the airport but they will refund you the full amount paid (at least this is what I was told)
