My son has recently had his vision tested at his annual review, and he needed new glasses. A couple of months down the line, he has started to complain that he can see lights moving across his lenses, some kind of ghosting, which even I could see. We went back to the optician and they claimed that the defect was not there…

They have agreed to have the lenses tested by the manufacturer. Big issue now is: my son is autistic, and does not like change, They have quoted me 1 week to have the lenses tested, and from experience, I know my son will not wear his old prescription glasses, as the last time he tried them on, he complained of double vision. I am really stuck now. I was thinking of buying a new pair and get the old ones tested, and then get a refund, but I am beginning to doubt my actions.
