Customer service with Lancome is top notch, I lost the receipt so couldnt return it to the department store I bought it from, I opened it and the brush was curved but shouldn't be. Product still worked fine though. I emailed them, they asked me to call them back, and now they're sending me out a replacement product
And it all comes down to the look you're going for I guess, I like the spiders mating with falsies look personally :rotfl:0

I have been buying my 'unstoppable' on ebay - you can get it there no problem. If it's a fake, I certainly can't tell the difference!0

Lancome or Elizabeth Arden are good.
As for drying up after a month, you are "supposed" to replace every 6 weeks (I know ECEEEK!)
I always have at least 4 on the go at once (bit of a makeup/skincare hoare!!)
At the mo only 2, Maybelline (pink tube) Liz Arden, hoping Santa will bring me some more!!! :A Sealed Pot Challenge 5 #1440 :A Sealed Pot Challenge 5 #1440

I have very long, naturally curled eyelashes so I don't need anything too fancy to make my eyes really stand out. I have tried high end mascara (Estee Lauder, YSL etc) and very cheap mascara and with my lashes being the way they are, I don't actually find much difference between them!
At the minute I'm using Natural Collection from Boots which costs just £1.99! But usually I would use a mid-range mascara from Rimmel which I find are great.0

I'ld definitely suggest Lancome. Nothing compares in my opinion.0

is my new fave... it's waterproof, you can put a fair bit on without looking like a drag artist and it stays put. With a No 7 voucher from Boots it's really good value too...0

To tell you the truth, I've stopped buying mascara. I got so fed up of the whole panda eye thing after only a few hours of use that I just stopped.
I now tint and curl them myself. The curl lasts around 6 weeks and the kit will last LOADS of treatments so works out around the same as a few nice macaras and my eyelashes look amazing 24/7
p.s. if your eyelashes are as long as mine, you'll need the large silicon pads I'm also a beauty therapist, so know what I'm doing. Your eyes are far too important to mess with so you might wanna check out prices in your local salons. I'm also a beauty therapist, so know what I'm doing. Hmmm, if that was me, I would be trimming the bottom ones and curling up the top ones, even just putting mascara on the top lashes maybe.....Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0

Sadly I'd agree (given the price) Lancome is the best range of mascaras overall. DD has given her life over to using evey mascara known to mankind
and despite really wanting to like other much more sexy brands, keeps coming back to Lancome.
Listen madam you've got loads of lashes, I'm going to try my best not to be jealous !0

Freyasmum How did you do that little pic? How? How? How?
When I was a teenager, I tried trimming them, but it looked ridiculous - the 'spider legs' have to stay.
Having said that, it's genetic. Both my brothers also have thick, fast growing hair and extremely long eyelashes. You should see my niece and nephew's eyes - their mother is soooooo jealous of them.
And, ironically, scared of spiders. The best present she had this Christmas was a Bettaware bug catcher...:rotfl:
The weird thing is I've found some of the lengthening mascaras - Revlon Grow Luscious, Max Factor Lash Extension Effect and mis sporty XX Long all 'go the distance' - that is last from 7am to bedtime without flaking off.
So I've got three new mascaras for the coming months.
I dye them myself but have been looking into about a 'special' sort of perm where the eyelashes are glued to silicone pads before the perming solution is applied - is that what you do, freyasmum? Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0
