Hi I'd like to buy DS some kind of portable heater for his flat. What would be the cheapest for him to run?
Thanks
Thanks

Makes no difference what type - all electrical heaters produce EXACTLY the same amount of heat for the same running cost.
If he is on his own, one of the halogen heaters might be an idea, they produce no more heat for the money, but they 'direct' heat toward a person. Much like a desk reading lamp will provide good light for reading, but not illuminate the room.0 -
Thanks Cardew, I was thinking a halogen one, there's so many different types to choose from, he has night store heaters but can't afford to put them on so I was hoping there was something I could get him that was more economical.0
