£150 credit with Orange

Hi all,

My first time posting, so please be gentle if I do something wrong.

Was in an Orange shop today and they are offering a £150 credit on your account when you trade in an old phone. Its only available on the Sony Ericsson W850i and K800i when you take a tariff of £30 and above ( new contracts only I think)

Apparently its a limited offer and finishes tomorrow.

They are also giving away some free speakers with the W850i ( while stocks last )

Hope this helps somebody.

Cheers:rotfl:

Thanks for that - would have been interested as I already have Orange broadband and this would have further offset the rental however called my local Orange store and they said the free broadband wasn't available with this credit deal - it was either the £150 credit or free broadband. They also said the speakers weren't included either. Might have been different local variations though.

go orange before it was £100, then dropped down to £50 but you could get it with the BB and now £150
the credit on your account should be for trading in an old phone
must be a few days deal becuase it wasnt on on thursday unless the sales assistant was encouraging you to get it quickly by saying it was finishing tomorrow
    Yes Your Dukeiness :D
  • I upgraded my tariff and phone on the 7th and the offer was still available then. The assistant also said I could drop my old phone in this week as I need to get pictures off it.

the offer went and was brought back, according to the leaflets in store it finishes on the 4th of march

  • wait a minute wait a minute!!!
I was in an Orange shop today and saw the £150 with K800i 18 month contract £30 +, (thats after being midly tempted on the £50 cashback the previous week!)

I spoke to the assistant at length and he said that it DOES include the free broadband.

So i am currently on Orange broadband, and paying £12.99 (negotiated thanks to MSE) for 5meg, livebox and free eve and w/e calls.

Doing the "math" if i give them my old nokia 3310 and sign up its GOT to be one of the best offers around at mo :

    Sony Eric K800i
    350 xnetwork mins
    300 landline mins
    75 texts
    magic number
free broadband - live box etc.
    £30 a month

but with the £150 credit works out to about £21/month (correct me if im wrong!)
and according to orange with the £150 credit there is NOTHING to pay for 5 months.....

There are also some offers to be had by taking contracts by phone. Especially on the mobile PDA, SPV M700, i was told that there would be £100 cahback to my mobile account if I took the cheapest contract.

the deal is slightly different now for the BB it is 5.00 per mnth for live box (wireless) with free calls and unlimited use, or free BB with modem and 2gb useage.

    best deal this week is

    choice of phone
    free speakers
    100 airtime credit
    free or 5.00 BB
325 x net min 75 texts and 450 land line calls for 30.00
    magic no every 6 mnths
if you move from pay as you go you can get a fre bluetooth hands free
free speakers if you get w850i ( hardley any left)
  • yes but if u negotiate down to £12.99 for your Broadband with livebox, you can get the mobile phone rental at £30 to include this without paying £5 a month on top , which would only include unlimited downloads.

It does depend tho if 2 gig download limit is not enough, which i do agree is quite small these days...

i still think this is the best current mobile / broadband deal at £21 a month for mobile (about 500 mins) and broadband (with livebox) and free + eve/w/e calls.

I know orange have had bad press but i think we are lucky with eg getting re connected at new house within 3 days and no other probs to speak of in 3 years with orange / wanadoo / freeserve.

It is also funny that if you look at the newspaper ad for the this deal it is giving £100 credit!!!!

This offer has been extended till sunday 4th march,. I still think this is one of the best offers around, I was just wondering if anyone saw any "holes" in it?

Can't see any holes! Broadband has 2GB download limit but is unlimited for £5 more. Is this definitely still in store till Sunday? Don't really want to switch broadband supplier but phone works out at about £6 a month with no hassly cashback. I am a poor voluntary worker and powerless to resist!!!
