payday loan - unauthorised transaction on account - help required

If you're 100% sure the transactions are nothing to do with you then they are classed as either a mistake or fraudulent as you haven't authorised them. Either way your bank is obliged to refund the total value of the money taken.
Write a letter to them if you can't get anywhere on the phone. State you will complain to the financial ombudsman service if you are not refunded within 14 working days.
Edit: You haven't signed as a guarantor for anyone else have you? (ie if they fall behind on their payments, you then become liable)0 -
Thats what i thought..but having reported it as fraudulent they have told me i still have to wait 30 days as payday loan transactions are classed differently by them.
And i am being 100% honest i wouldnt be wasting anyones time on here!
Sorry but that's ludicrous. If it was identity theft they would lock down your account immediately and chargeback any fraudulent transactions. They can't pick and choose which fraud to jump on and which fraud to wait 30 days for....
I'd escalate it via customer services if I was you.0 -
I have never applied for a loan from this company
Still seems vague.. Who HAVE you applied for loans with in the past?
Have you taken out ANY loans in the past but not repaid it completely in accordance with the agreement?
How about this crowd?

They look perfectly reputable and above board, nothing to worry about there.
