Look at picture 4, an illustration of what the bathroom might look like, after you've spent a load of money...then picture 5 shows what it ACTUALLY looks like! Then picture 6, what the lounge might look like...then picture 7 what it actually looks like!

I can't see anything suggesting that the pictures are proposed layouts for the rooms within that property, and they seem to be photos of another property (different window layout in bathroom), so unless it's a technical hiccup behind the scenes at RM, I'd say no - they can't do this, and it's possibly an offence under Property Misdescriptions Act.0

Unless they are photos of an identical property I doubt they can do it without contravening the PMA.0

I can see why they would do it (pretty grotty house and people may not be able to 'see the potential' themselves) but its dodgy in the extreme! Do they do it to all the houses they sell?Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved.

It's in The Mounts anyway - run away, run away !0

It was for sale with JKM property solutions - ie you bought it and they'd do it up. (There is a thread about them somewhere?) which is where the photos come from. Looks like Connells have ditched them and are trying to sell it under it's own 'merits' again?0

That's my bathroom suite in picture 5!"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

someone from round my way,
i would agree with Hanky, its in the Mounts, so they have to try something! To be honest I would want to paying about £20k less for that personally!
Not actually I wouldnt pay anything for it, because I wouldnt live there, but if someone else wanted to then I would suggest £70k.Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.0 -

Well, it does say "Illustration only" on the 2 offending photos so I guess technically that makes it legal. It's pointless though, they shouldn't be there in the first place. You wanna hear about my new obsession?

Estate Agents, don't you just hate them with a passion?"One thing that is different, and has changed here, is the self-absorption, not just greed. Everybody is in a hurry now and there is a 'the rules don't apply to me' sort of thing." - Bill Bryson0
