O2 deals- where have they gone?
I'm looking for a 12 month deal with O2 with at least 10 month free. There were quite a few a week ago but they seem to have disappeared. Does anyone know if O2 have changed their policy? Have they reduced their commission to dealers or something? I want to use o2 because of free 0844 numbers for international calling.

Thanks for that nick.
Do you think this is short term or will there be deals soon? O2 will lose out to Orange etc as there are great deals out there.0 -
It is not o2 offering the deals - it is the retailer (but no doubt influenced by the amount of commission).
There are o2 10/11 month free (12 month contract) deals available from CPW, OSPS, e2save, thephonespot and Mobileshop (plus others). Cashback through quidco etc as well.

Hi - thanks to the person who suggested looking on cpw - I've found the LG P7200 and the Nokia 6822 on 10 and 11 months free.
although I just bought a 3 contract off boots.com at a gain of £115 in adcard points as I couldn't find anything 02 yesterday where I was happy enough about the reliability of the cashback... now I'm wondering whether to cancel. Hmmm.

the deals are still there you just have to push for them. just got of the phone to a lovely lady who did all she could to keep me. it has taken 4 calls but got what i wanted in the end. 1st call my bill went up!!!!!!!!! 2nd call managed to get 250 mins and 100 texts for £25. 3rd call got the same package but down to £20. last call i said i could still get a cheaper deal with 3 and asked for my pac code. my new tarriff is 300 mins , 100 texts for £15 a month with new handset or £100 added to my account, chose the £100 so my new 12 month deal is going to cost me £7.50 pm. :j :j0

i just rang o2 retentions on 08706007102, remember i rang four times before i got a good deal but my advice is always be polite and be prepared to leave if when you do ask for your pac code (which in my experience you will have to do to get the deal you want) they offer you something which you deem unacceptable. good luck.0
