I've stayed at the Excailbur and it was fine. The only problem we had was when we arrived , the room we were given had no view , just a wall , so we asked for a better room and were given one with a good view.
I've also stayed at the Excalibur and had no problem with it. I had a wall view too! But seeing as I was only in the room to sleep, it didn't bother me. It was clean and spacious. That's all you need! I love the location of the Excalibur. You'll be fine!!

I've also stayed in Excalibur (2006) and it is fine. Not the best, but it is ok and I was happy. It is in a central location on the Strip, so you are in the heart of the action. You will have a great time. If you get a chance do the rides on top of the Stratosphere, scary!

Dont try to phone home drom the room I had a 2 minute conversation and they tried to charge me $127, but I told them exactly where to shove that bill.
No coffee maker in the rooms neither, which is seriously annoying cos its like a half mile walk to the cafe.
Its not crap as such its just not that good , although it looks seriously cool on the outside at night. Id allso seriously recommend watching the Blue man group its a great laugh. and the rides at the top of the Strat of course

The hotel is fine, stayed there about 7 years ago, (didn't think it was that long ago) the rooms are huge compared to those in the UK and clean. The location is good, not far from the airport and next to Luxor and across the road from New York and MGM Grand. The only annoying thing I can remember was the casino seemed really loud loads of ching ching ching every time you walked past (maybe people were winning!!) Wasn't that impressed by the themeing. Would I stay there again? No, not because there was anything wrong with it but I like to stay at some of the other hotels first.
I like my food and if you want a really great New York Steak & Eggs for breakfast you have to go to the Bellagio. We stayed there are the beginning of January it was excellent. I probably won't stay there again not because there was anything wrong but I've got my eye on the Wynn for the next time whenever that might be
But would go back for the breakfast!! 0 -
I have been to the Excalibur Hotel and i am going back to Vegas in May. But i am staying in the MGM , not that Excalibur was not good but lets just say its not the best in the world. The location is not ideal and the service was just ok .0

Excaliber is just fine............its just old compared to some of the others. Over 30 years ago I first went to Las Vegas as my auntie lives there. I was so impressed by all the glamour, bright lights and the goings on. Casino's and hotel accommodation is being upgraded almost daily. You won't be disappointed. Half the fun of Vegas is walking around all the Casino's and taking in all the sights.....Downtown is also fun too.SallyD0

The Aladdin is nice , stayed there last year
Don't know if you've got a fountain view room , but when we checked in we said we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and could we have an upgrade and we were given a room with a fantastic view :cool:Same old same old since 20080
