Could ne Next? they generally allow you to place the order on their credit terms? I remember thinking I was applying for the credit and they just automatically accepted me before checks were made... it was a while ago, but I remember being suprised at how little confirmation they asked for.
  • No, it was Topshop. Doesn't matter now anyway, I've got my confirmation email saying that it was cancelled.

It was actually really easy. I have already shopped with them, and my store card details are saved with them. I had forgotten about that because I don't use the store card any more (I cut it up months ago), and I was reviewing the website. Ease of use and checkout process and everything. So when the button said "Confirm and pay" I clicked on it, thinking it would take me to another page to enter my card details which I obviously wouldn't do. But it didn't, because it already had my store card details saved, so that was it, I'd placed the order.

I rang them this morning and cancelled it, no fuss. So a bit of worry over nothing really.

So just like Amazon 1 click then now I understand;)

I'm glad you were able to cancel, you now need to write to Top Shop telling them that you no longer wish to use their store card and to cancel the agreement, otherwise the same thing could happen again (although I'd hope you wouldn't make the same mistake twice).

With the likes of Amazon they actually recommend refusing delivery as the best way to quickly send back an item you've decided you don't want before you even get it.
