I have taken my credit cards out of my purse & put them away in a wee tine upstairs.
I know this doesnt seem like much but I just dont feel the need to carry them around anymore!
I will keep the accounts open at the moment but eventually when I have a wee savings pot as a back up they will get cut up & the accounts closed down

Hi Dolly, I think that was a real turning point for me when I could finally take them all out of my purse, confident that I wouldn't need to resort to them during the month to survive
Now everything has been moved around and minimums are being met, there are no charges and this seemed to be the fine line between balancing at the end of the month. I still have the cards just in case I need to in an emergency but love the feeling that I know I will not spend on them again other than in an extreme emergency
Just keep swimming!0
