You are making great choices dietwise, and moneywise. And I totally agree...... Dietwise, it's all about Damage Limitation in December.

Thanks tru - i'm glad someone else is on the same wavelength as me!!
Since my little blip on Thursday I think it was I have been perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So many little temptations but I managed to resist.
Was out for the day with the girls & had a baked potato - yesterday I had a chinese but I had beef in black bean sauce with boiled rice which on Slimmy World is only 5 syns so well within my limit of upto 15 a day.
Today has been good so far aswell - done my weekly shop & got my £25 voucher for Morrisons so that will be a saving next week!

Hi it's great to see that you have already made excellent progress in terms of your debt free target and I wish you the best of luck for your targets in 2012. Please let me know how you get on, it would be great if you could let me know of any hints and tips!
Also, my OH is wanting to get rid of his debts which are spread over 3 different cards. He is thinking about consolidating them all, getting a loan with a decent rate so that he has only one thing to pay a month and keep track of. Is that what you are doing, or have you chosen to keep them separate? I hope I'm not prying too much, I was just wondering if you could pass on any information that I can share with him

The 25.00 morrisons voucher sounds great, will definately help out a lot! And well done on the chinese...I always think that Chinese is the 'sensible' takeaway option.

Yeah Tru it is the best one healthwise anyway - you still feel like your getting a wee treat aswell!
Hey Cuppycake!!
Well I dont think anyone would even give me a consolidation loan I didnt apply cos I had requested a few 0% credit cards & got knocked back so my credit rating will be crap LOL
I'm just paying everythin off individually - just paying as much as possible off the ones that are hitting me with the highest interest each month.
I have the catalogue there which at the moment due to my stupidity I am having to pay minimum of 200 a month off of that or in April they are gonna hit me with like 45% interest from the date of purchase - do not want that to happen that would practically double what I owe them!!!!
I just feel so stupid that I have got myself into this situation - why why why & was it really worth it, well at the time I thought it was but now not so much!
So my top tip would be to pay off the highest interest ones first!
Post an SOA on the boards aswell cos lots of people much more experienced than me will be able to give you more advice.
Good luck

Thanks for that D, currently I'm trying to urge my OH to get on here too. We are very honest about money and such, so having these diaries wouldn't be a dirty little secret for either of us lol!
He's very much of the opinion that his debt is his debt, but I want to try and help where I can, even if it is just handy hints! :PCredit card- [STRIKE]£487 [/STRIKE] £96.78 Overdraft-[STRIKE] £1000[/STRIKE] ALL GONE!
