Hello again
just got a Yorkshire Bank card no BT fee 0% 6 months and got a limit of 6300! - BTd 6K to egg money no problemo and did it on the phone - not many cards w/out BTfees but still a few out there - see links to apply on Martins info pages on credit cards on left of this page in red
it unusually took a couple of weeks to arrive as some a bit quicker but no probs or hassly phonecalls
Go for it!!0 -
CHIHUAHUA - did you apply for this online? Do you have the link?
cheers0 -
Hi sadly it wasn't from this site but moneysupermarket.com and yes did it online! - on this site go to longest 0% BT cards under credit cards and look for ulster bank - thats my next target for mission stooze! - again no BT fees and 6 lovely 0% months!!

CHIHUAHUA Be careful with Ulster Bank. The last I heard they were about to start charging a balance transfer fee.

Hi thanks for the warning! - asked Yorkshire about this and they promised not to charge one even though it's mentioned in the blurb that came with the card as a 2% fee - the person i spoke to said they would also put a note on my account to make sure if they made a mistake that it would be refunded automatically but was 99% sure this would not be the case - thanks for the warning about the Ulster - will check with them if i get the card - if not it will be a sad waste of an application but hey ho!:rolleyes20

CHIHUAHUA, Hi again CH. (see your still on line). Ive just applied by phone (08003896299) for the Halifax smart card and been accepted. Up to 10 days for paper work then further 10 days for card. I thought my stoozing days were over.

Hi John - thanks for the tip - that one was on my list ! - don't want to apply for too many at once though as have applied and been accepted for YB and Egg in the last 3 weeks - none before that for a few months.
Do you think its worth trying for a 3rd - could always let Ulster go as have a postal application for them
also anty hassle on the phone or was it an easy call?
thanks for tip and advise
