02 Number Porting-Can I port another newtork (as PAYG) then back immediately?
Hi All.
My O2 contract is ending this month. I wanted to get a PAC code and port my mobile number to Virgin Pay as You Go, then port the number back to O2 immediately?
Is this possible, and if it is, is there a duration of time I must wait before I can port my number back to O2?
Thanks for your help.

When you tell O2 you want to leave, they will ask you if you want to port your number to a pay as you go card. Tell them you do, and the following will happen
1. They will send you out an O2 pay and go card
2. You will receive your PAC code
3. Phone Pay and Go. Give them the PAC, and the number will be ported to Pay and Go.
4. Phone Pay and Go Customer services, and ask them for a PAC
5. Take out a new O2 contract and port the number back:j
I would just do that instead of messing about with virgin. Keeps everything simple.
