lastminute.com moved my flight to next day

It wont hurt to give Virgin a call. Although they only have to offer a refund they may help you out if you appeal to their better nature.
If they wont offer you any money or help with accomodation ask if you can have an invite to the upper class lounge at gatwick. Ive had them do this twice for me in the past. In fact they have offered this for next years trip for 4 of us. was originally just 2 but as it will be my daughters 21st the day we fly they agreed to extend the invite to all of us.
Ive never stayed at Paris but as you say its pretty central and opposite my fav attraction. (bellagio fountains)
Ive stayed at MGM about 3 or 4 times and in september stayed at the MGM Signature. cant wait to go back again
I called virgin, and they just said my booking is with Lastminute.com, and until i actually fly they own the booking so i have to deal with them unfortunately0 -
Did they say WHY the date had changed ?
Virgin fly daily to Vegas usually so it isn't likely it's a schedule change.
If it is their mess up then there's no reason why you should have to pay extra. I'd start by checking with Virgin if your original flight is still operating.
If you do need to pay for an extra night-don't book it with LM before checking elsewhere for deals -if it's at the same hotel -the hotel can link the two bookings at checkin so you won't have to move rooms or check out and in again.
(I once booked a night at Imperial Palace for the grand sum of about £9-Didn't actually stay overnight -checked in at 8am -then walked back to the Flamingo and checked out there and trundled the bags down to IP after breakfast -dumped the bags -went out for the day-came back showered and picked up the bags before catching a 10pm flight. Room was very motelly but clean -and I always do well in their casino) If funds were really tight I'd stay there again as I spend almost no time in my room in Vegas anyway. The Strat is too far out for my tastes too-although if you have a car -the rooms are very nice)
Thanks,
When i phoned virgin, they actually said the flight for the 20th had been cancelled, but couldnt tell me why.0 -
an email informing me they have had to move my flight to the same time but 24 hours later, and i can either have a refund of the flight price (not full refund of parking and hotel) or accept the change.l
If your flight has actually been cancelled, then according to http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexUriServ.do?uri=CELEX:32004R0261:EN:HTML
the airline has to offer you a choice
Article 8

(a) - reimbursement within seven days, by the means provided for in Article 7(3), of the full cost of the ticket at the price at which it was bought, for the part or parts of the journey not made, and for the part or parts already made if the flight is no longer serving any purpose in relation to the passenger's original travel plan, together with, when relevant,
- a return flight to the first point of departure, at the earliest opportunity;
(b) re-routing, under comparable transport conditions, to their final destination at the earliest opportunity; or
(c) re-routing, under comparable transport conditions, to their final destination at a later date at the passenger's convenience, subject to availability of seats.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

I finally lost my patience with the india call centre, so i emailed Mattew Crummack, the President of Last minute.com and i had an email back from vip executive sales and loyalty asking for my phone number and it was sorted within an hour this morning. Hotel and parking for an additional day free of charge.
