Change to Sky

My BT contract is up and with unlimited Broadband and paying line rental up front, they work out to about £275 per annum.

I've spoken to Sky (as you cannot access upfront annual line rental on line) and, once you have paid the line rental £119.40, the first 3 months of broadband are free and then £10 a month after that, working out at £209.40 for the year. Evening & weekend calls included and a router.
I am not a Sky TV customer.
May give it a try

I have the package you speak of, although pay £7.50 for the interweb as I am a TV subscriber.
Works well for me and CLI and 1571 are standard.

Has been some talk on here about the 12 months up front being a one off that you can't repeat in subsequent years, might be worth asking.
That gum you like is coming back in style.
