the latest from VoipBuster Pro:
Due to a fire at our server site we are currently experiencing severe technical problems.
Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused; we are working hard to try and solve the problem as soon as possible.
Due to the severity of the disruption it may however take at least one day before we can offer full service again.
Please try again later.0 -

I have 'dabbled' with these so called 'free' providers but like some of these threads have become exasperated with the hidden snags. That said can someone clarify what happens if, having paid for credit, you don't use it up in the period other than to get charges for connections. Even though you have to purchase more 'freedays' can you recover the unused credit if it hasn't been used?0

The credit does not expire, so the account balance is usable whether you top up or not.0 -

If you have credit left then its worth using that up before you buy more free days0 -
Er ok, let me get this right. According to above at the end of the 120 'freedays' you have to purchase mote credit 'top up' regardless of how much credit is left in the account - right? Because in order to continue getting 'freedays' you have to add the credit top up. As I said earlier this means that even tho' there might be x Euros left every 120 days you have to purchase credit to continue making free calls.
Crikey I confusing myself now!!!!0 -
For people who don't make enough volume or length of calls to get benefit from so called "free" days the non-Betamax company VoiceStick is worth a look. $5 minimum top-up, 0.96 U.S. cents a minute to the U.K., between 1 cent and 1.1 cents a minute to France/Spain/Germany etc. No "free" days just pay for what you use. Credit only expires if you don't make a chargeable call for 180 days.0

You don't have to top up I don't think, I was previously using voipiscount which is one of the group. When I ran out of free days I just used the credit I had left, so all my calls were costing me, I think it lasted a couple of months.
I have now switched to voipbusterpro which this thread is about, which works a bit differently.0
