Car radio pinched motobility is it covered???

Hi And thank you for reading this, last night my sisters car (Motobility) was broken into:mad: (smashed drivers door window) and the radio pinched..:mad::mad:

contacted the Insurance this morning and was told that its not covered..:mad::mad:

On reading the insurance details it state all internal equipment is covered...:(:(

Help are we missing something...

You;d need to ask them which clause they are referring to that excludes audio cover. If the clause doesnt make sense then post the exact wording here for others opinions.

My sister in law had her Motability car stolen. The insurance did not cover her for her personal items that were in the car but the car itself was covered.

She did not get charged anything because the car radio was lost along with the car, so I can only assume that the car radio, like any other fixed accessory, is covered.

Are the insurance company clear that the radio that was stolen was the fixed car radio and not a separate portable radio that happened to be in the car at the time?

Hi, Thank you to InsideInsurance:A and David39:A for your comments, my sister rang the insurance this afternoon and asked her about the clause she needed to quote:eek::eek:

And the person on the other end suddenly realised that this was a theft and that it was covered..:T:T

To cut a long story short its being taken to the main dealer tomorrow to be repaired...
