PlusNet - is there a cooling-off period?

I have recently moved house, and after a series of delays (not Plusnet's fault) finally managed to get a new line installed and phone up and running, together with broadband.
My phone went live on 2nd December and my Broadband yesterday.
There are several things that I am now unhappy about and wonder if there is a cooling off period in respect of the contract that I now appear to be tied into for 12 months?

Yeah, considering it's a new line, any problems you are experiencing would probably have occurred with any provider. The fact they put a line in pretty much tells me you won't be able to get out of it if it's just a change of mind because of the cost incurred to the company to get that done for you.
That said, Virgin have cooling off periods regardless of the type of order you ave placed.0 -
Thanks, I have been contacted by Plusnet and they are working to resolve the issues I have.0

Your ability to recant ends when the service is connected, even if sub-standard, as they need to resolve the issues. Better to work with them, and only when that fails, ask to be released.0

I've just signed up with Plusnet too. I was with O2 before I moved house and my broadband was unlimited. I couldn't have O2 in my new house as they don't have their equipment installed locally so I changed to PN. When I signed up I was told that 10Mb was more than enough allowance for a moderate user. However, having had it since the 15th December I've found that I use pretty much 300 Gb a day and so am really close to my limit constantly. All I do other than the usual surfing is downlaod a few photos now and agin, I also watch iPlayer occasionally and listen to the internet radio. I really want to cancel and change to Sky which is a much better deal.
Does anyone know if they're likely to let me do this?0 -

Oops - I am a little tired :embarasse
I meant that I'm regularly using 300-400Mb a day out of my 10Gb limit
(I'm always getting these mixed up sorry)0 -
It only cost an additional £5 per month to have a 60GB monthly allowance. I'm with Plusnet & have recently upgraded. I've had no issues with them ever.0

I know - the problem is had I realised I was going to end up paying the extra £5 I would have gone with Sky who offer unlimited use for slightly less. I also understand that their service is better - I've had very slow internet problems since I changed to Plusnet.0
