We use Huggies for our newborn but bought some from Aldi as an experiment. Have tried using them over night time for the past few nights to trial them and they're amazing, hold really well and this could be a cooincidence but since using them she's been sleeping for longer!! Can't complain at that!!Don't Throw Food Away Challenge January 2012 - £0.17 / £10
Grocery Challenge 16th Jan - 19th Feb 2012 - £254.72/£200 (Ooops very bad start)

unfortunately, there's no Aldi where we live.was looking at kiddicare website, they seem to have a new range of nappies http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/categorylandingpage_10751_-1_just4bums_10001?rw.cm=Google,ppc,just4bums+-+the+new+nappy+range&cm_mmc=icrossing-_-Google-_-Essentials-_-just4bums+-+the+new+nappy+range&OVMTC=Broad&site=&creative=6443536813&OVKEY=kiddicare%20site%3Akiddicare.com&url_id=11473110&adpos=1t1

I agree I have 2 and each of them had different "favourites" depending on our needs. Our daughter had terrible diaorrhea so the high backs
of the tesco ones were fab. My little skinny son is best in the Asda own make.

Tesco's own brand are perfectly fine and cost half the price of Pampers. No contest really.0

I have used Pampers for all 3 of my babies, but swapped to Lidl nappies when DD went into size 3s (they dont do size 1 or 2) as they won a Mumsnet award for best disposable nappy. They are great, not "plasticky" like some cheap disposables and cost about £5.30 for 50.0

I try to buy Pampers Simply Dry when on offer (usually 2 for £10...though I've not seen this as much lately) as it often makes them cheaper than my other preferred nappies (Tescos green packet and Aldi own brand).0

good amount for money
Ask for a sample before you buy a box, I did and they were very good. IIRC, you have to pay postage if you only buy a box at a time.0 -
These are still more expensive than Aldi's though. Aldi's work out at approx 10.3p per nappy for their size 4/4+. This brand has size 4s at 11.1p per nappy and 12.3p fpr the 4+ size.laddujaddu wrote: »unfortunately, there's no Aldi where we live.was looking at kiddicare website, they seem to have a new range of nappies http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/categorylandingpage_10751_-1_just4bums_10001?rw.cm=Google,ppc,just4bums+-+the+new+nappy+range&cm_mmc=icrossing-_-Google-_-Essentials-_-just4bums+-+the+new+nappy+range&OVMTC=Broad&site=&creative=6443536813&OVKEY=kiddicare%20site%3Akiddicare.com&url_id=11473110&adpos=1t1
