Toucan Mobile

Toucan have just offered me a free contract for a mobile if I stay with their broadband package 100 texts or 100 mins of calls a month which ever I prefer.

This seems like a good idea to me as i've been trying to cut back on my mobile bill and thats really about the limit of my messaging.

Has anyone else had any experience of this service, I know toucan are okay but can be a real pain if anything goes wrong as their call centres are outsourced and very frustrating when my broadband was first installed

But in theory 22.98 would cover my internet, phone and mobile!

Yes, I've been offered this as well. I just use Toucan for calls - the only problem is that it is an 18 month contract and I am not sure I will still be with Toucan for 18 months

Do you need to have broadband with them to get this?

Can you get one if you just have toucan as a CPS provider?

I'm only using them for broadband at the moment my phone line is with BT.

But again I've had problems with their technical people its an outsourced call center which can drive you mad, but then again my friend is having the same problem with BT as they have outsourced theres as well.

Will give them a call and see whats going on. I'm due to move house in June so want to know if it will cost me anything to move my broadband and phone with them, which i'm sure would be a nightmare. Rather than just cancel it and rejoin with somebody else, will report back when i've called.
