..........there are lots of Royal Mail threads on the ebay board, but my query doesn't relate to ebay.

Would it be worth having a Postal and Delivery Services sub-board or is there already a home for my query, that I've missed?

Thanks

True, but that goes for utilities, phone companies, internet providers, motoring organisations, airlines etc etc, yet they have their dedicated sub boards!

Easier for you anyway custardy, everything one place :D

( It was to find out how long generally people are finding they are waiting for Royal Mail signed for parcel deliveries at this time of year ( urban area). See! Doesn't slot in easily anywhere!)

Depends on where you are tbh. Lots of offices have gone thru revisions that are causing problems, added with the christmas pressure. You could try ringing the delivery office and checking to see if there are any problems or if they have started the park and loop in that area.

  • I wonder if anyone else would appreciate if there is a possibility of providing simple up to date info on postage rates?
I have tried so many google results and all I want to do is plug in destination for a standard sized letter to say USA or Malta and find out the postage charge.
I do realise that rates depend on size and weight but if at least there was a site that said if your letter is below these dimensions and weight and going to this destination, the cost is...

Here is another place to look, I'm not sure it is any simpler but i can't see how any site can tell you the facts without putting in a little detail.

These links , in case anyone looks for them in future, are on the sticky 'postage' thread on the ebay board.
