    Count me in please!

I saved about £60 last year from about August till the end of November, and found the coins rather elusive.

I started saving them again in December and in the past month I've already saved a further £60. I keep getting them in my change, plus my sister is keeping them for me. Long may it continue.:D

I'm saving them to put towards my spending money for a trip to New York at the end of May, and when I return I'll carry on saving them to put towards my dreaded building insurance bill, which always comes in way too close to Christmas for my liking.

My hubby has just given me a £2 coin to add to the collection.
  • Happy New Year Everyone,

Observer you are right I was grateful to have something to raid … £20 petrol doesn't seem a lot these days but I only try to use the car for work, an additional hours of traffics daily upped my petrol spends quite a bit!! No more car as I am officially on maternity leave!! :j

I raided £10 so used half and have brought my total back to £24 over the festive period so I am quite impressed. :T

I have to say 2012 is my year I wanted to start saving as well as paying my debts off and I joined quite a few of the challenges – The sealed pot challenge / virtual sealed pot / pay one debt and the grocery challenge. It is nice to see that people on each challenge are on most of the challenges. It is like have a challenge group of friends :)
