We've been booting this morning, and I only bought one thing for the house and NO books *faints*.

I have informed DH that I am not available for ebay listing/sorting etc today and I am going to do what I want to :D

We've been grocery shopping this morning, and I've got enough stuff to take for lunches this week and am going to do some more baking today.

I'm selling one of the items I listed last week that I was going to get rid of, and I've a few watchers on the others so there's a chance there.

    Have a good day everyone!

  • Hi all :)

Peaceandfreedom - how restrained you were at the buffet :T and all those fab compliments too :j:j:j Go you! It sounds like you are really 'getting things done' at the moment - keeping on top of healthy eating & weightloss, Sorting things out in BOTH the home and the garden and paying down the debt too :T:T:T Fabulous - can you bottle up and send some of that motivation / organisation my way please :D

Enchanted - i will try & pop by your diary again today :)

ebayqueen - hi hope all is well with you and yours x

jwil - well done on the sales :T And i hope you had a nice afternoon doing what you wanted to yesterday :D x

I have challenged myself to doing a wardrobe declutter *again* :rotfl::rotfl: Basically i've got over 100 things on ebay / to be relisted so these things are making a bit of a mess of the house :o Then i've got some other bits that i'm looking into selling to other places *MUST* crack on with some of this today :o so they are also out  Probably worst of all though is i've got clothes that should be in my wardrobe all about the house because of the lack of wardrobe space :o So even if all my eb*y stuff went these things would have no-where to go. So the challenge is on for me to declutter enough to allow me to fit my things that *should* be in the wardrobe in there ;)

Hope it is a good monday for all x

Thanks, DDFW, I hope I can keep it up. There are two nice men in the kitchen at the moment doing stuff. I've loads of work to do once they've finished but I've been YEARS waiting for something to be done about the kitchen, it's so exciting. :j

Another thing that I find exciting is taking stuff to the tip - I feel physically lighter as I'm driving out of there. Today, I threw out a bike that I bought when going to Uni - we are talking 31 years ago, ladies. :o For over 20 years I've hung onto it (it needs a lot of work before it can be used) saying "I'll do it up" - well I never did. I was hanging onto it for sentimental reasons - well, to hell with that, it was cluttering up the garage and now it's gone. :T

100 things on ebay.:D. Wardrobe decluttering is not an easy job - I've tried so often in the past and keep hanging on to things, thinking that I might wear them again. And in fairness, I have worn stuff after a long time of them being 'dormant' and the clothes have been admired, so it's not always a bad thing.

What I do have is a huge amount of kids' clothes that no longer fit any of the kids - they all need to be sorted, laundered, ironed, photographed and ebayed - but just writing all that has worn me out! Must do it though, and SOON.

Hope your ebay sales all come good, DDFW, and the wardrobe decluttering is a major success.

Hope everyone else is having a nice Monday.:T

Well done on the decluttering peaceandfreedom, it will be very exciting to have all the kitchen work done.

I've not got much to report really. I had a few sales yesterday, and most of those have paid and been posted now. :T

I dug out my old pedometer this morning, and am going to try and get a little more active. At the weekend I discovered that I hadn't sold my old mini stepper that I thought I had, so next time it surfaces (DH packed it away again) I'm going to start using it as it doesn't need the space that my cross trainer or a DVD does.

Something that I used to do - every time I went to the loo, I would do 10 squats and 10 push ups (against the wall rather than the floor). I started doing this again today in order to get a bit more activity in as I'd found it really helped tone me up before. My legs ache already which just shows how pathetic I've been on the exercise front. :o

I've also made sure I drink lots of water which means I need to go to the loo more often ;)

Excellent ideas, Jwil. I like the squats/push-ups when going to the loo. I do some push-ups while waiting for the kettle to boil but never thought of it when going to the loo, I LOVE that idea. :T

When going up the stairs, I often do 10 toe-to-stair jumps before going up - but only if no-one's looking because it does look like I'm a bit bonkers. :D

Hee hee, or in supermarket queues - if you are behind some woman who looks like she is concentrating quite hard, you can bet she's working on her pelvic floor. :rotfl:

Thanks guys :D Judging how my legs feel this morning, I definitely need to carry on with it.

Love the toe to stair jumps p&f - might have to try that one when I'm alone :D

    Morning everyone.

Been out with the dog - I love that the mornings are getting lighter now.

I've got to clean up my old microwave now for getting rid on freecycle and going to pop some leftovers in the slow cooker for dinner tonight. (Followed by pancakes of course :D)

I won £30 in a prize draw yesterday :j :j so once that arrives, will use it towards something.

I've made a small pad today of £1.70.

No pancakes for us tonight as the new cooker is not fitted but the old one is gone (yay!). Also, I had a Chinese takeaway last night which can only be bad news on the weight loss front. :o
