Hi everyone, I am back to normal now thank you. Very busy at work as we close tomorrow and dont come back till 2 January so cant wait.
All ready for Christmas and am taking a break from the debt busting over the festive period too. I have kept £30 for myself in case I need it. If I dont it will go towards overpaying in jan.
have only managed £10 on Swagbucks this month and £5 on my survey but spent a week in bed and didnt even feel like doing that. I will continue the surveys and swaggers over xmas holidays as I quite enjoy the games etc.
hope you all have a nice break over christmas xx0 -

Hey everyone
I haven't posted for a while, been keeping busy though!
I've had quite a few sales so happy about that, and think I've got about £120 to add to my total :T
I did relist yesterday (figured I'd pay this time) to catch all those bored people on Christmas day. I might do the same next week to catch everyone who is at home over the week. I'm also going to chuck a couple of bits on tonight for 10 days. Must look out my diet stuff as well
Everything is fine otherwise, I think I've developed SPD/PGP though now. It's absolute agony when I'm moving like I've pulled a muscle in my groin. I've got consultant on Monday so I'll double check then.
Dr Google says that the best solution is to keep your legs shut - if I'd done that 6 months ago I wouldn't have the problem :rotfl:It does seem to help though, so I'm trying to remember.
I'm not particularly organised for Christmas, have managed to post off everything that needs doing so though. I haven't even got a tree, so will have to sort something out this weekend. It hardly seems worth it now though as it's so close to Christmas. We've got our lights up so it's not totally bereft of festiveness here.
I do need to get some lists done of everything we need now though so we are not dashing around like mad things this weekend.
We've been given a load of baby stuff now (pram, car seat, bouncy chair and clothing), so we have the main bits that we will need to start us off. I'm picking up a moses basket from a friend too tomorrow so that will give baby somewhere to sleep. I feel a little more relaxed now. Just need to write a list of the other bits I need to get and sort that out too.
We were booting last Sunday and I picked up a baby carrier for £5 (it had never been used) and a bath support for £1. We aren't buying a baby bath, will just use a washing up bowl and the normal bath as required so the support will help.
Not much else to report I think, everyone's very quiet at the moment, hope you are all ok.

Oh, forgot to add, I need to find my old paperwork for my northern rock loan to see if we are eligible for their payouts. We had a together mortgage but paid off the loan before the error occurred so that won't be eligible. However, we both had unsecured loans with them as well which we paid off a couple of years ago. I can't see whether these may be involved or not so will dig out some paperwork and see what I can see. If nothing else I need to see if we changed our address so they can find us!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0

Hi Jwil. You are sounding very organised indeed. Well done on the December total. I'm afraid I have lost track with mine. Or lost track with making money! There is always another month.
I'll be thinking of you on Monday and hope all is well.
I'm on my travels to see family from tomorrow, so best wishes everyone for ChristmasMortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

Hi Guys,
Sorry i haven't been posting but i've been really ill and been unable to focus / concentrate on anything _pale_ *fingers crossed* that i am on the mend now - i hope! Obviously being so ill has scuppered all of this weeks plansbut i am not too bothered as long as i am better for Christmas Day! So we have no decorations up, i have things i need to buy (the food stuff mostly and 1 important gift) and still have to go to work  I'm not going to worry about it though - i'll try and get all the shopping done on Sunday and on Monday when i'm in work i hope i get a relatively ok lunch hour (at a decent time rather than the morning  - considering i'm there til 6!) and nip into the shops for anything i forgot due to head being an ill and befuddled mess!
Oh yes! Not only are the decs not up but the house is in a complete state too
i *might* try a bit of dusting & tidying upstairs in a bit then i've at least made a start and it all doesn't become too overwhelming
Hey jwil - well done on your sales :T that is brilliant! i had a few sales last week which really helped but i'd miscalculated the postage of an itemand then the buyer sent me a message saying they couldn't pay until Wednesday and would it still be there for xmas - i only charge 2nd class postage so was seriously out of pocket having to post it 1st class and having miscalculated in the 1st place too! Still i though tis the season of goodwill
and will be good for my karma
Although my bank balance won't be thanking me as everything is so ridiculously tight this month (all my own fault for listening to someone who told me we'd get paid before xmas when we aren't being ) i am so pleased you have got some baby stuff sorted out now
how did you go on with the loan jwil ? all the info. i've been able to find says if affected i would have received a letter by nowand i haven't
i tried ringing their helpline but sat listening to 5 minutes complete silence got very dull very fast!
LAM - glad you are feeling better - and lucky you getting a christmas shutdown :T sadly we don't get that where i work
CHOCS - wishing you a safe journey home and a Merry Xmas x
PEACE&FREEDOM - hope all is well with you hon, wishing you a lovely xmas also x

Sorry you've been ill DDFW, glad you are feeling better now.
I haven't looked into the loan stuff yet, I'm not even sure I've still got the paperwork though I know DH will have.
I've been following the thread on here and people are still receiving letters so don't give up hope.
All I've seen is that if you have a 16-digit account number you are definitely not affected and the same if your loan is over £25k, but what I can't see is whether stand alone loans are affected or whether it is just the together loans. We'd paid off our together loan prior to that, but both had standalone loans.
I think they are sending out letters to those with existing loans before those with paid off loans too, so that means that we wouldn't have had ours yet as they were paid off in 2010.
I'll not expect anything, but it would be a nice little bonus if something did come of it! Just need to make sure they have the correct address for us!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
