Eek, Brizzle - did you get any snow? That's a bit close to home. It's damp here and cold too.
Well done for resisting heating - I've had mine on for ages, I'm a bit of a wuss. I probably wouldn't use it so much if I have a wood burning stove though.
Chocforever - GET LISTING!!!I've put a few bits on this morning, even though I wasn't going to. This will definitely be the last I do until it's too late to get there for Xmas though.
I'm not organised for Christmas either - I've done a bit, but not an awful lot.
I'm selling a few bits today, hoping for some more by the time it all goes out. DH has quite a lot going out so a joyous afternoon of packing ahead.
We've been booting this morning, but I didn't buy anything :A

Hi everyone, how are you all?
I read all your posts a couple of days ago buit then got too tired and had to turn the comp off
jwil - i am glad the mot was not *too* expensive for you hon. And i am with you re. having the heating on - we have no fire and the house is draughty and cold brr! Lovely that you are having a scan just before chrimble too x Your total paid off seems to have leaped up - well done! :T:T:T I seem to have stalled on the clearing debts front and need to refocus on this asap! In some ways though i am thinking i have had alot of unplanned / unbudgetted expense - MOT, new glasses needed, a fair bit of dental treatment, boiler service to pay for - i know some if not all of these things should be busgetted for but its pretty hard when there's no moneyAnd on top of all that several significant birthdays and xmas too! I am going to focus on reducing the debt but also i am continuing to overpay the mortgage and also want to start some savings too as i have none
- so lots to think about
Also well done on the sales and hope you get a few more hon x
I almost forgot - i may be asking you for tips on the kindle fire
P&F - i am so sorry to hear how hard things have been / are for you ((hugs)) PM me if you need to and rant all you need to as well - it doesn't sound like you're ranting though - just that you've alot to cope with x Congrats on your sealed pot challenge :T
Chocforever - did you get anything new listed ? I just re-listed everything for a few days and also added 1 newly listed item. i have 4 non payers though from the other week
I still have quite a few xmas prezzies to buy- actually that just reminded me and i have now ordered 1 - hopefully it'll be here in enough time ! i really need to make a list and just go and get the stuff! the problem is i know i'll need to 'nag' my mr about the things he needs to buy for his family and this will be all time-consuming bah!

I listed one new thing. Not sure if it is the kind of thing that sells on Ebay, but just checked and there are 5 watchers so looking promising. I also relisted one item.
In my defence, I did photograph some shoes and sports stuff ready to list and then discovered they are selling for very low prices at the moment. They are (hardly) used and I suppose people only want new stuff for presents. I think I need to wait until January when people have made new year's resolutions to get fit :rotfl:Mortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

Well done on getting stuff listed everyone. Chocs - I have some diet stuff I'm going to put on after Christmas too
Brizzle - we boot all year round, winter is a good time to sell as not so much competition. We didn't sell this weekend though, it was too cold.
I've had a few more sales now, so I've got £65 to add to my total. It's all covering a shortfall this month,so I can't put it towards my cards which is a shame, but it all counts!
Just had our electric and gas bill which is something else to find now, I thought it was due in January.
I'm exhausted at the moment. DH had a lot of sales too at the weekend, so I've taken 4 big mail sacks to the sorting office, 3 parcels to the post office and still waiting for a couple to pay up. It's lovely to see it all going even if I don't enjoy the packing. I don't understand though why I don't see a correlating emptying of my house  It never seems to look any better!
It's weird, last night and today, my belly seems to have gotten huge. Even DH commented about it! It's starting to get in my way now :rotfl: I put some batteries in my scales the other night and was actually quite pleased to see that I am around 1/2 stone lighter than I was when I first got pregnant. I thought I would be more now as I've been eating a lot recently. (Just in case anyone is lurking, I'm VERY overweight, so it's not an issue for me as it would be otherwise, and I'm still eating well, I'm not dieting and was advised by the docs and MW and consultant not to put on too much weight).

Good to see you checking in and that you're keeping we'll. it's exhausting being pregnant, especially with this weather.
Heading north for work tomorrow..hope I get back:rotfl:MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Aw jwil - really enjoy hearing how you are / your pregnancy
Well done on all the sales for you and mr jwil too :T
i have stopped going to shop at the carboots for now jwil - i wasn't finding alot of stuff and to get up so early and be really cold to find 1 or to £1 things it didn't seem worth it
I've got a couple of 99p sales trickling in at the mo. but only a couple but its still good as stuff will be gone at least
Chocs probably a good idea waiting until the stuff increases in value
P&f, brizzle, LAM, retired and skint - hope you're all well xxCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hi everyone - not been around for a few days - came down with a virus and ended up being hospitalised overnight. am home in bed today and for the first time feel like going on the computer. for as long as I can remember I was not well enough to do the horses so friends and OH been seeing to them. I am hoping that is my xmas bug out the way and will be fit and well for that.
i have done no sales this month so well done all of you that are ebaying. cashflow wise I am ok for december but from january I want to crack on with the loan. Sainsburys dont issue statements or online banking so its going to be tricky just watching my spreadsheet - I like to watch the actual balance going down.
glad to hear baby is growing well jwil - cant wait to see what you have - will you find out beforehand or are you going to wait for the day?
its freezing here today OH said car said -4.5 when he went up to do horses.
take care everyone x0 -
Gosh LAM that sounds nasty, hope you are feeling better soon and look after yourself! Hopefully it will be gone by Christmas.
DDFW - I don't always buy stuff either, but DH quite often does. It's a good walk for the dogs though, and the one we go to stays a good size even throughout the winter so it's still worth a punt.
LAM - we think baby is a boyHe was being a bit shy though at the scan, so as I've got a growth scan on Xmas eve, I'll see if they'll have another peek and say more definitely.
It's freezing here too - we've even got a very light dusting of snow this morning "If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
LAM - blimey, that must have been a shock for you. I hope you get better soon and back to doing the horses.
Jwil - we are all very excited for you and looking forward to the updates. We have a light dusting of snow too and it is freezing cold.Mortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000
