Ha ha, love your approach to cleaning. :rotfl:

The weather is going to be terrible tomorrow 'round 'ere - it is already wild out there - high winds & rain. So there is absolutely NO EXCUSE for me not to do the ebay stuff that is looking at me accusingly. Tomorrow it shall be done or else. :naughty:

I have three things on my to-do list, the ebay stuff is one, doing some work on a new website is another and cleaning the bathrooms is the third.

When I win the lottery, I'm getting a cleaner in. :D

There's so much stuff stacked all over the place, it's too hard to clean around it all. I will get better as the house gets clearer.

Good luck with the listings, I've more than used my 100 freebies and my 100 99p listings so not sure if I'll get anything new on. I have stuff to add though so might, but will probably list some stuff for DH.

Good luck with the website and cleaning the bathrooms :D

De-Lurking to say i've tried this on some stuff that had loads of watchers last week but didn't sell ...re-listed last night after reading this with free p&p and bumped up starting price a little :) hoping it sells this week now! Thanks for tip :D xx

Hope your listings sell DFW, good luck :)

    Morning everyone :)

No booting today, it's awful out there.

Have instead spent a fair bit of time reading the new Stephen King (an essential purchase obviously :o) and will probably get some listing done today as well.

Have managed to run the hoover around, whilst the hub and the dog were out walking (and have come back VERY wet).

The cat was also unceremoniously booted out too, and she was very unimpressed and has kindly left muddy paw prints all over the house now :D

Hey all - a tired DDFW reporting in :o - i was already heading towards exhaustion late afternoon yesterday and woke up 3 times in the night before getting up to head to the carboot as a buyer this morning :)

Was mightily pleased it wasn't raining to start off with - but Ooh! that cold wind Brr! Even though i was all wrapped up! I felt a bit sorry for the stall holders with all their stuff being blown about / blown over! And then the rain started - they had all already paid for their stalls and alot just packed up and went home (i assume) which was within 2hours of the carboot opening and some of the cars we'd seen pull onto the site so they hadn't been there an hour  In these conditions i would not have set up a carboot other than an indoor one but i guess its each to their own. I was also surprised at some of the prices being asked for stuff - i don't believe that some things would even sell for the high price being asked on the bay of e! I still managed to nab a few bits of bargains and then we headed off to another carboot which was mostly sheltered so wasn't as bad but still very cold and wet really.

Again managed to nab me a few bargains here so was glad to have made the effort really :) Even if i'm chilled to the bone right now!

Splurged on bacon sarnies for me and my ma :o But i saw this as a necessity given the freezing wind and lashing rain ;)

There actually wasn't too much of interest to me on the stalls today - or if there was it was really hard to see with the wind and the rain! So i was really pleased with the things i got - purchased a couple of bits for 1 of my hobbies, some new - as in brand new clothes with tags on :T and a new bag :D Was really pleased with the clothes actually - it wasn't a stall full of brand new things just these bits and 1 other dress i didn't buy that the stall holder had bought and never worn and so decided to sell them :) All good labels too so i know if they don't fit me (which they should) i can easily sell on the bay of e so won't lose out and they were only a few pound so a massive saving off the label price :)

Just had a cuppa :coffee: to help me thaw out and am now going to delightedly go over todays purchases :D

peaceandfreedom hope the listing goes quickly for you - don't know if its any help and i don't know much about it but alot of people have been posting really positively about the eb*y app and how quick it is to list stuff with it - also just realised i don't know if you've got a phone that can do this but just thought i'd mention it :o

jwil - lovely that you have managed to fit some reading time in for yourself today :) i will be following your listing advice next week - i was just far too run down yesterday but your other fab advice occured to me too - that there's just so much stuff listed on flw so if i need to pay for it anyway i may as well do it next week ;)

Glad you had a bargainous time at the car boot DDFW. We've sold before in conditions like that - I figure that people won't want to sell but they will come out and buy so it can be a profitable time. We always hope to get the pitch fee back and a bit more, so will happily pack up after a couple of hours.

Hope you have a nice relaxing afternoon :)

Well I won the lottery AGAIN last night :T :T :T

Sadly still only £5 but that's £20 this week so I'm not complaining.

Been listing stuff for DH this afternoon. I've also been trying to find something I've decided to sell which should go for quite a lot. I can't find it though  so will have to save that for another day.

Whilst hunting under the bed though, I've found a few more boxes of magazines, so they will need to be looked through and can then go. That will clear some much needed space.

Good luck with the website and cleaning the bathrooms :D

Hmm, didn't do the bathrooms. :o

Got some stuff listed on ebay but it seems to take me ages. Have some more I'll do tomorrow.

Didn't go anywhere near the website but I did some spend quite some time today learning a new programming language. Also did some laundry and some general cleaning around, so not an entirely wasted day.

Hasn't it been absolutely MISERABLE weather lately. I wish it would remember that it's supposed to be spring. :)

Don't think my phone is up to much but there must be a better of listing things than the one I'm using because it seems to take me ages. Oh well, got quite a few done with some more to do tomorrow. Can't say I enjoy it though! :(

Thanks for you help though DDFW, glad you had a good time pottering about the car boot today. Brave of you - it's been tipping it down ferociously all day here, the roads are like rivers.

OK, I'm heading off to bed in a minute with a cup of mint tea and the Sunday Times magazine - bliss! :)

Well done on your listings! I think ebay was just horribly slow yesterday due to the free listing.

I find turbolister a lot quicker, but you can't use it for FLW. I don't have a smartphone though so haven't tried that.

Anyway - we're in a drought dontcha know :D Loads of flooding around here. Still looks like no let up today, I got drenched again this morning.
