some hints if you really must use a bending spring.Get some gorm.0 -
There is indeed a nack to using a bending spring but nowadays, even in the best of hands, copper can kink or ripple purely down to the modern day copper specs. Its much thinner walled. I always use a bending machine and dont use springs any more. You could of course have used plastic pipe and pushfit fittings but then i guess you would have had to buy a full roll of 15mm which racks up the cost again...I ended up using elbows after trying bending springs. The spring was a pain to get in and out and the pipe still kinked anyway. Probably a knack to it and I can't imagine they'd sell if they didn't work somehow, but in hindsight I'd have just forked out for a pipe bender in the first place!Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -

Unfortunately not unless you are very very careful and have all the time in the world - it's far too damned thin walled.

Depends on the size of the arch you want to achieve but a spring is just as good as any way of bending pipe. Not Again0
