    what abuse?
  • There is no abuse. The OP is being very over-sensitive and cannot take different opinions to hers. Pathetic.

I am accused of running a cannabis farm, of being dishonest, of stealing gas and electricity and of having something to hide.

That is not on and thanks for nothing, I am really upset at some of the comments being made. I don't need targeted with accusations like that.

read my previous post "I don't see why they could not arrange a prior appointment when it is convenient to me? I am not being unreasonable,

    ....

I think there are some 25 million householders in UK.

So for all 25 million they have to send a letter saying we want to come at X o'clock on Y date. If that is not convenient, you write back and re-arrange a time(how many would even bother to write back?) How many £billions would all this cost? To be paid for in higher bills.
  • If letting the meter readers in bothers you that much, pay to have the meters moved outside.

How does the company know that you're being honest about the amount you use unless you let the meter reader in?
Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

You were not accused of running a cannabis farm - it was qualified in the next paragraph by stating 'To be serious!'

that is not the point at stake. it is the accusations being thrown at me by the people on this board when I just asked a question. It can be answered without all the sarcastic and unhelpful comments.

and Cardew, why say it at all? was it helpful - no, it just opened the door for everyone else to pitch in and have a go at me.
