Thanks for your reply, Quackers! I actually popped into Clarks yesterday before reading your post, and they were ever so nice. They took them back no problem - so Clarks definitely deserve their place on this board!

I always take Ethan to Clarks for his new shoes, but there's just one question that has bugs the hell out of me ... how come whenever they have a sale on, there is NEVER anything in Ethan's size????

Mind you, I shouldn't complain - I've never paid more than £25 for a pair of shoes for him.
