LOL @ people who feel 'used' - this guy only asked for help posing from the opposite end of the spectrum. Hardly crime of the century - during the ''season of goodwill to all men - not just the employers''

I'm sorry to hear of your troubles, John. You say you are a hard working guy with good attendance, and if this is true maybe your employer will have a heart.
The opposite of what you know...is also true
  • I wonder what happened?, he might still be there with the employer trying to tie them in a knot with employment twists and turns lol.

I feel cheated that we never found out how this ended
  • Well it has been a rollercoaster that's for sure and sorry for the deception so to speak as I pretended to be the employer and not the employee.

Anyway I was dismissed for Gross Misconduct and have an appeal hearing soon which I feel will be to no avail. I am however progressing forward with a Personal Injury claim against the company as they have blatantly mishandled some aspects of my last years employment with them.

I shall also be making a claim for all unpaid hours worked i.e. Break Times not allowed to be taken at the overtime rate over initially a 2 yr period plus early shift payments that are stated in my contract but it seems they have not paid for some time.

I hope that this fills the gap for those that were wondering what happened.

I wish you luck with that John and with getting back into employment soon. I thought you would be dismissed and I hope your getting some support from your friends and family.

I'm probably wrong but I can't see you getting to far with either of these claims but however if you do get to a point where the company is willing to negotiate make sure you get a pre-agreed written reference as part of the agreement.
The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!

If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!
