    Can you define very hot?

Is it too hot to hold in your hand?

Most laptop power supplies will run pretty hot when the laptop is run from them, especially if you are running anything power hungry at all or for any extended period.

Transformers by their nature run hot normally, unless it is too hot to hold in your hand I would not worry too much about it, just make sure you keep it with air flow around it, my daughter has a habit of getting the PSU for my laptop wrapped up in her quilt when she uses the PC on the bed, then it gets hot!

Saves on using a hot water bottle though ! :D
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die
