Hmmm, you won't get something decent to protect that nice new phone for £5-£6.

I just ordered an Incipio case now it costs just over £13, but a mate at work has one and it feels good and looks the part.
:exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!
  • I agree that for the price you are looking at you wont get a decent case. And seeing as you are looking at protectiong a £500+ phone, I would suggest paying out a bit extra. I personally have the bumper and altho it was free when Apple messed up during the launch of the iphone4, it is deffo worth looking into. M iphone is scratch/scuff free since Summer 2010

I think the typical iphone cases are pretty big and bulky. Prefer no case, fair enough you get the odd scratch but looks better! If iwas to have anything i would go for a discreet bumper. particularly if your going for the white iphone.

can be found a lot cheaper dont buy a case from apple!
  • I had an incipio case for my iPhone 4 and it's superb and added very little bulk to it which is what I wanted, pay an extra few quid and get a better case you won't regret it.

Yup, got mine today, and it's looking great, even comes with a screen protector in the kit :D

eBay TPU/gel cases (generally available for any phone) are very good IMO. Not too bulky, and a sort of soft silicon/hard plastic hybrid.

I've got one of these http://store.griffintechnology.com/iphone/iphone-4/reveal-etch-iphone4
I prefer the feel of the phone with a case like this on it (rather than naked or with just a bumper), it feels too thin otherwise.
You'll also want a screen protector, I like these http://store.apple.com/uk/product/H2330LL/A but there are lots of other types, depending whether you want matt or gloss or mirrored or whatever.

Thanks to you all for your comments and suggestions. From your experiences I think it might be a good idea to invest in a more expensive casing.
