Rights to return a watched DVD?

No legal right to return as far as I can tell. Even if this was an online purchase covered by distance selling regulations, the right to "change your mind" does usually not apply to media items when you've opened them.

Trying to return it as "not as described" because you don't think it's suitable for kids is not likely to go far when it's been classified as 'U' and says bloomin' on the cover.

Allows 'bloody' and 'bu99er', so 'blooming' is definitely OK!

U is a 4+ age rating as standard.

I remember my mum saying bloody when i was a kid (maybe about 5 or 6) and as kids do, i used to say "ooooh you swore" to which she'd tell me "bloody's in the bible, bloody's in the book, if you don't believe me, take a bloody look"........fast forward a few months, i started saying bloody.......she'd tell me off and i'd rehearse her rhyme back to her :rotfl: she literally couldn't tell me off.

As kids we were always trying to find ways round things. Like we'd say xxxx is a bad word isnt it mum? We were also told not to cross busy roads unless we had our parents/uncles/aunts with us....they found us in the park one day and were livid. Giving us a telling off because they'd told us not to cross the road....our reply? "but we didnt.......we walked up one side of the street and went under the bridge". Couldnt give us a telling off then either as technically we hadnt crossed over the road, we'd went under it :rotfl:

Always amazes me how smart kids are and how they have a different view on things.
