Rights to return a watched DVD?

Thank you in advance to anyone who can offer me advice.
I brought a DVD this week for my 2 year old about an animated grumpy Father Christmas. I choose it because it was a U rating. However on watching it with her I was horrified that every few words is "blooming" in a sort of replacement swear word manner. There is no way I am going to let her watch it again as I don't want her copying this. It did say in the blurb on the back that Father Christmas had been on a 'blooming' holiday but I hadn't anticipated such prolific use of the word in the content.
My question is, as I have opened and watched the DVD do I have any right of return as I dispute the U rating. I realise this isn't the stores fault. Or am I deemed to have accepted it and will have to keep it?
Grateful for advice. Thank you

As the item isn't faulty I highly doubt it.0

Should of gone to Blockbusters if you wanted to rent it0

Should *have* gone...0

To get a rating it has to go through the BBFC process, so they deemed it suitable for all. You have no grounds for refund.0

Where did you buy it from? Maybe they'll offer goodwill...
For the record, what is it called? It doesn't sound U rated!0 -

Thank you everyone. I thought as much.
Yes it is the Raymond Briggs DVD and I brought it from a big supermarket. I'd never heard of his Father Christmas book before but sounds as though if I put it away for a few years she will enjoy it when she is older :-)
Thanks again for all the comments0
