Rights to return a watched DVD?

Thank you in advance to anyone who can offer me advice.

I brought a DVD this week for my 2 year old about an animated grumpy Father Christmas. I choose it because it was a U rating. However on watching it with her I was horrified that every few words is "blooming" in a sort of replacement swear word manner. There is no way I am going to let her watch it again as I don't want her copying this. It did say in the blurb on the back that Father Christmas had been on a 'blooming' holiday but I hadn't anticipated such prolific use of the word in the content.

My question is, as I have opened and watched the DVD do I have any right of return as I dispute the U rating. I realise this isn't the stores fault. Or am I deemed to have accepted it and will have to keep it?

Grateful for advice. Thank you
