  • Morning all

Hey up Chev how true that is and Cheery a big wave to you

KC its due to get milder - which is great - up here its the wind that will be an issue mid-later in the week. - Thats what I'm worried about!

Hey up sfrd - I'll hope we all have fun!

MrsM - you are right (as is every one who's said it) what won't get done won't matter - but I'm trying.

Today - final day of work (although I do have the morning tomorrow)
Need look at roads and fathom if I'm going to go down driving the night to OH's - or a book a b&b for half the trip to break it up
Hen food to get to top it up
    More dw/hc to do:j
    Begun to pack case
    Kids case packing too
EGGs to drop off and collect

Womble work to do - monthly report
    Banking
    application to ebay for charity
pick up a bit of paperwork from the treasurer

Banks to do for me - cc to look at - and tea to find from somewhere
Fridge to empty into a box for Wik (we did an 'on the phone list')
Put ski's etc in the car (don't forget)
    Passport etc
Print train details and that kinda stuff
    Water plants
Tidy up a bit but not go crazy

OK bank first then a shower then a utility room to tidy

A bit done - lady came about the hens and I've discovered i don't have a spare key! Oh well need to get one cut today

Red I hope I get paid too - be handy but I'm working a budget without it arriving (which will be tight) as I've been gadding about buying skirts and getting my hair cut!

I've to go and pick up my cc which I accidentally left in Lidls - lol:rotfl: (I noticed yesterday - doh!)

I will probably do an hour in a garden in town as its needing done and be nice to do a bit more before I go.

And, I need to go to the local tip and put a bit of rubbish there and do the recycling.

    :D

    Ok

Yep, I'm good, thanks - trying to find out how to put more money onto my payg mobile !!!! and also alter the adjustable foot on my f/f so it makes less noise (and also trying to find out whether I *have* an adjustable foot, that helps!).

    f/f ?

Fish fingers? (which is what that (f/f) means in this house!)

    or Freezer?

    :rotfl:

I can't imagine fish fingers with adjustable feet!

:) bank checked again (I have OCD) - no money in but I've 2 wtfc before xmas and need to fathom how much I need for rent contribution from me.

And I've realised my sister's coming round tomorrow - if she tells me to unplug it over the holidays, I will - she can take stuff that'll definitely go off. No sense burning the house down ... I've tried to phone the hotpoint hotline, but after 4 levels of pressing buttons, I got the engaged signal, and then it disconnected _pale_ so thats pretty much a no go.

Good luck with your trip sooth Pippi...take care on the roads. Better to book somewhere, where are you planning on stopping...do you hope to get as far as Inverness? Not very knowledgable about staying over on that stretch of road, hope you find somewhere nice. Have a wonderful trip...may leave off sending your parcel (next job to do...late again!) until the New Year...when are you back?

Been busy making yet more presents this weekend, then tidying and clearing DS1's room for him coming home today. Downstairs is now packed with boxes waiting for the rain to ease so we can get them down the garden and into my shed. We may have to make a dash for it!!

Right, need to head to the PO and send all these parcels...they'll get there in the end :o.

I'm off to Slough this afternoon to deliver parcels to my lil'sis, back tomorrow. Tthen off to Scotland on Thursday, returning next Tuesday...it's all go. DS1's bday is next Wednesday and we have to get him back to see his GF (since they will be apart on the 25th...bless!).

Have a lovely week everyone. xx

Must admit I scan-read and wondered why Karma was checking if her foot was adjustable :rotfl:

Might be a good idea just to turn it off while you're away if you can - save a bit of electricity anyway!

It does mean getting rid of everything in the freezer, thats the thing ... and you know those blackcurrants from my garden, and those blackberries I picked ... I haven't done anything with them yet, they're still in the freezer :o:o:o

Hope that you do find a B&B to stay at Pippi. KC. I wondered what the f/f and adjustable feet were, too shy to ask.

Lots done and phew to getting card back.
