    Morning all,
Think it was Thursday when I last posted, Friday was spent puling my hair out due to our Solar fitter leaving it until 4.50pm to email all paperwork I needed to register with our elec provider, managed to email all documents through at the 11th hour. We are now registered in time to get the higher tariff, it drops by over half at midnight tonight. Inbetween panicing I wrapped more pressies and did lots of cooking / cleaning.
Y/day we bought our xmas trees, DH has sawn 3" off the bottom of the trunks and they are soaking in buckets of water. I'll erect and decorate them tomorrow. Had DGD2 for the day as DD2 & Sil2b went to Bath Xmas Fair.
Roast Ckick dinner for DH today, I fancy chick salad, something light due to lost appitite. Meeting friends at lunch time at our local for drinks and a good old natter.

Hugs to Jackie and all poorlies. Off to catch up.x

Now now young lady what have I said to you before?
You may not have had a death in the family this week but I still think your current situation deserves support. Yep you heard me you DESERVE these hugs, this is your gremlin again, trying to convince Us all that you're somehow not worthy. Well you are, if we can't offer love and support to someone when they're down when can we?

unfortunately the gremlin has a point today...

    Morning all,

Pouring with rain here, at least there was no frost. Was going to change the bedding today, but will leave it till tomorrow in the hope that it will be dry.

DD is off out with her dad today, so OH and I are off to town, I have asked for a down jacket for Xmas and I need to try them on and tell him the size I want, otherwise he will get me a size 10 :rotfl:, and I will never be that again :o

Will really try and wrap some pressies this afternoon, while dd is out, would be great if I could get all hers done.

Pizza and salad for dinner, nice and easy.

    Have good days all,

Hugs to JackieG and Dazi xx
  • Good Morning :)

Thank goodness the snow has gone and the weather is milder today. I've been up since six when hubby wakened me going out to work. I didn't want to waste the day so finished the ironing that needed doing and stripped the beds. Housework is all done and daughter an I are just heading out to go riding since the weather is reasonable.

I need to go shopping this afternoon to pick up various other bits and bobs for mother in laws hamper then it'll be home to finish writing the rest of the Christmas cards and get ready for going back to work tomorrow. I also need to turn the house upside down to find the receipt for our Christmas Day lunch as the restaurant won't feed us without it

Have a lovely day everyone :)

    Morning all!

Went out again yesterday, we fun and I have no hangover. Made drunk egg and beans on toast when we got in, so tidying up needs to be done! OH is still in bed. Pup has developed an obsession with licking the sofa, so need to try and get him out that...he likes the texture lol.

Plan for today is have a bubbly bath, clean kitchen and living room, get a clothes wash in, and then go out for roast dinner somewhere, OH's grandparents gave me some money for my birthday yesterday and I just want to roast but don't want to cook or wash it up, so figure we deserve a little treat!

I need to get baking too, was going to do 4 loaves, and start my mini gingerbread houses. :) Ohhh also need to get to an equestrian shop to get gloves for my boss, i've seen the perfect ones, but can't find them online for a decent price so as i live in the land of horse owners hopefully one of the shops has them in.

Then it's just my brother's christmas present to get and i am done!

  • Morning everyone

Ive been rather quiet recently, have been busy and havent had much of interest to say so haven't posted.

Work this week has been a nightmare, times like this when I think, I cannot wait to finish my contract and get out of here. And then panic sets in again that I might not find a job for months back in the UK.

We had our first snow yesterday, it looks lovely when you are able to stay inside and stay warm and snug. Unfortunately I had to get out and do run some errands.

A friend is meant to be coming round for dinner, and she is over an hour late now. So the food is just sitting there looking rather gross now.:mad: Really irritates me when people arent on time.

Hope eveyrone has a great Sunday. Sending all those who need them hugs.

Morning ladies, hope everyone is well.
Suffering from lack of sleep. Went to bed at 11 and slept until 4 when my dd woke me up to ask if I could help dniece to the toilet.Bless them they had tried to do it without waking me but dniece is really stiff when she wakes so needs someone with a bit more strength to steady her. Tried to get back to sleep but didnt so got up at 5 and put washing on the airers and more washing in the machine. Unloaded and relaoded the dw, put the pork in the oven, peeled pots and veggies for dinner. So am now pooped. Will grab an hour this afto.
It doesnt feel as cold this morning and no wind but dull and dreary. Will only be going out to walk woofer.
So everything really done now so can sit down with a big coffee and the paper in peace and quiet as everyone else is in the land of nod except ds3 who is at work until 2.30.
Whatever you are doing today stay safe and keep warm.:)

    Morning (just)
Welcome to wanna-be-in-credit & caseymoo
    Lou, ditto Bitsey :D

Had a lousy night last night so am taking things very slow today.
Dogs wouldn't get in bath yesterday  so DP will put them in today, they will have their 15 minutes whether they like it or not as I am in no mood to be messed around :o. I din't get my jams etc made yesterday either HH because whilst on the hunt for my jars which DP had put in the outside shed, I found the extension lead so spent a couple of hours sorting out Christmas lights in a very cold attic brrrr, still at least I know our loft insulation works
I too have been trying not to do any roasts this month but DP has practically begged for roast potatoes today  mind you he did say he doesn't care what we have with them ;) so fish fingers, beans & roasties anyone :rotfl::rotfl: Have I mentioned I'm not in the mood to be messed around???
Hope you all have a peaceful Sunday & if any of you has a spare minute have a quick look round & see if you can find my Christmas mojo please :o
Hugs, spoons & hi5's to everyone because we're worth it x
