Fair point but was just trying to highlight the delta with the current exchange rate. Could be of use if they're planning a trip to the States in the not too distant...

U can get a Tosh L30-105 which is also Duo Core with 1gb ram and 80gb HDD AND Vista for £449 surely the extra £50 is worth it for the upgrades? (oh and a DVD-RW too)

Could someone point me into the right direction please? My sister in law bought this and now needs a router - I suggest a Netscape, can someone name a specific one as my head's spinning from folding laundry!

I have one of those & it often drops connections, & this is the second one I've had. My mate has also had two with the same problem. I'm on Bulldog he's on BT.

2 years and 3 months counting for me - no reboot ever. Guess its just one of those things. I only bought it cos I'm with AOL and have another one sitting waiting just incase this one does pack up, courtesy of the AOL customer service staff!
