re Snow globes, I liked them , I thought they were nice. I can understand that some people dont like them ,there are things Kirsty makes which I dont like, but others do. But theres never any need to be offensive about any of it. No one is forcing anyone to make snow gobes or anything else for that matter. If I was given a HM snow globe in a jar I'd be pleased, but wouldnt want a knitted draught excluder, for example.
ETA what has all this to do with house prices BTW? Isnt it all a bit OT?

So you speak for everybody on here do you? You have repeatedly explained what annoyed you about my post and I have apologised on several occasions ........... what more do you want ...... a flipping gold-plated snow globe?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thank you for your apology by the way.:)

yes I agree this has dragged on a bit; no I don't speak for anyone, other peoples' responses speak for themselves. I don't want anything else from you Pennylane, just wanted to clarify for everyone why I reported the post, and thanks for the offer of the snow globe but I've never liked them so I'll pass if you don't mind. :D
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

we are not just houseprices, we are also THE ECONOMY. which basically covers everything. :D which is why its such a wonderful topic because everything is connected.

plus, kirstie counts a ''house prices'' and home made covers economy, as does how much each of us choose to spend on christmas lunch...and why. ;)

If you spend tuppence ha'peny YOUR lunch might be cheap, but you might also be responsible for damging market share of christmas lunch producers outside uk, and thus be damaing uk economy, so feeding back into other negative figures, increasing job losses, and resulting in impact on yor own finances.

Of course, when it coes down to it, that is not what most of us are thinking as we ake our hoices of food, wine and other things, at christams or year round...neither could we alwys, our heads would explode, but nonetheless, and impact from OUR day to day choices over matters lik this CAN have an impact.

Back on topic; here you are, look, same price as Kirstie's before she did the renovation, and you might get 10% off to put towards a gingham tablecloth or WHY.

Cannot STAND Kirstie, but have enjoyed laughing at her tantrums about falling house prices!!!

This programme is beyond stupid and incredibly patronising. Signed, a craft lover.

I have just realised, I don't know what they are, but I probably don't need one. We have more than ten of those very large plastic boxes full of Christmas decorations and a loft especially dedicated to them. Not one decoration is mine. :o

Mind you, I do craft stuff, but with useful things, like sheds and bits of corrugated iron. :D

There is an anti-tinsel day in Ullapool that we go to if the weather allows - lovely buffet meal from around the world - one year Mexican & you put a donation in for charity - folks go with fiddles, pipes etc - great day. But if we can't go coz of weather stuff - like the road shut then it'll be a cockerel OH strangled earlier for lunch in the caravan.

Gosh we know how to live...........

I've read this paragraph three times and still not sure what it all means. What I am sure of is that you sound like you're having a lot of fun, so it's all good.
