I was the lone voice in the darkness I think over there!:rotfl::rotfl:

Someone actually reported my post as offensive because I dared to say that the snow globes were like something a child of 6 might make.:rotfl:
I find that frightening.... her snowglobes were possibly THE most hideous "make it yourself" item I have ever, EVER, had the displeasure to see .... I felt very uncomfortable even watching her completely bodge up that piece of old rubbish.

I think to say a 6 year old might make it is generous.

Please don't lie! I reported you for being abusive to another poster as you very well know because I told you I had done it and why I had done it, and you subsequently apologised for it! I think other comments on the thread show just how popular you were.

I don't understand why you feel the need to post over 20 times on a thread that's about someone you obviously hate? I couldn't be bothered but then, I have a life.

eta - you may have deleted your post from that thread but several of us quoted it
I read the quoted post and I entirely agree with Pennylane.

    good!

but nonetheless it is rude and hurtful to say it in such a way to someone whoe just aid they are excited to make them. Often its not what ones thinks or says its how one says it.

Well, I think I have the perfect Christmas decoration.....

A friend in Tiverton has just offered me this rather nice stag's head to hang over the doorway. She says it's "too much aggro" to keep him, but apart from needing occasional dusting, he looks no problem to me. :)

A few bits of tinsel and some spray-on snow and he'll look really lovely. If I put a blob of red paint on his nose, he'll look just like Rudolph! :D

LOL..... you can probably pick up a Red Nose Day nose, with an LED light, from eBay.

Does Red Nose Day still exist? I can't recall hearing of it for 10-15 years.

Ooh yes, but if you're not involved with schoolkids, or people who behave like schoolkids, it may pass you by. ;)

My finest hour as a primary teacher was compering a talent show for Comic Relief, dressed in a pair of Darth Maul underpants. That was the 'Pants to Poverty' year. :D

Nowadays, they'd probably arrest me.

I didn't delete my post - it was removed because you reported it as offensive which was, of course, your decision.:) Yes, I apologised to the OP if I offended her but I don't apologise for what I said about the childish snow globes which Kirstie made.

Apologies Pennylane, I thought you had removed the post yourself

I read the quoted post and I entirely agree with Pennylane.

tbh no one on OS really cares whether Pennylane hates kirstie and/or her snow globes, entirely a matter of personal opinion; what we objected to was the sneering at another poster
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

Just discovered the start of "Phil & Kirstie's Perfect Xmas" - and they're decorating some huuuuuuuuge kitchen/diner, the size of a small planet .... so if you own a mansion you can watch this and see just how to decorate it to make a great kids' party area. (Channel 4+1)

So .... how many of you live in a mansion?

I think the room looked like: kitchen with big island and open plan dining area and open plan big space. Probably 25' square at least. Bigger than most of your houses I bet :)
