To add to what Quentin has said, your advice seems to be to buy tickets, illegally, and use them as the prices for rail tickets are already so high. Ever thought that maybe one of the reasons for expensive rail fares is fare evasion? I wasn't offering advice in the post aimed at you, as I've already given that in a previous post. I was simply stating the quite frankly, obvious. I've worked at inner London rail stations over the years and can whole heartedly say that of all the vagrants I've come accross, about 95% of them were drug addicts and alcoholics. It's not a label so much as to state the bleeding obvious!

I'm not for one minute saying they're there through any fault of their own, but what I am saying is why on earth would anybody in their right mind, unless very naive, buy a used rail ticket from a vagrant and help the very drug culture that destroys the lives of these very people and other people to grow further!

If breaking the law and risking a criminal record is offering good advice, we might as well just give up now!
