Madasafish to Plusnet...MAC needed?

Hi all,

I would like to move my broadband from Madasafish to Plusnet, as they are basically the same company and I can get a bigger allowance for a bit cheaper.

Has anyone managed to do this without a MAC and no down time?

Thanks for any help. Si

No MAC needed, no downtime - any easy job for them.

  • Cheers for the reply.

Which would I be best to contact my current provider or Plusnet to do the switch?

    Thanks.

  • Thanks for the link. Had sent an email to Plusnet and they confirmed that once I inform them they can take care of everything.

I think I may be better off cancelling with MAAF and then sign up to Plusnet through cashback site. That will cover the BB set up fee.

    Cheers for your help. Si

If you cancel with MAAF they can charge you a BB cease fee £30.

There will be no "BB set up fee" if you simply ask Plusnet to do the simple changeover for you, as they have stated,
