I ordered, paid for, and cancelled a mobile phone all in the same day with CW. I paid on my credit card and even though I cancelled within 10 minutes I was told I would get a cheque within 28 days. This was 2 months ago!!
I have had just about every excuse possible when contacting them, so I am having to take legal action. Just a word of warning when looking at your next purchase.

Snap - sort of.
We ordered a phone prior to christmas paid, then recieved an e-mail say problem with payment, they required an issue number and the card did not display one. Spoke with company who cancelled that order and replaced the order. So far so go
Next day two phones turn up, reject one keep other. Do you think we have been refunded - nope.
Complained until blue in the face so far have received £40 in compensation.
The interesting thing is that staff tonight said they were having major problems with all there banking system, so much so that all the directors are trying to sort it out.0 -
Just an update. I have been told again that the cheque will be here in 28 days. That will make it 3 months!!!0

Join the long queue of disgruntled CPW and OneStopPhoneShop customers (same company). I am owed £30 and have been for nearly three months. I have phoned about 10-15 times and written to Charles Dunstone personally all to no avail. This company is absolutely appaling in every respect and it is criminal that they continue to get away with what they do.
As for your predicament cyprio42, they should be reimbursing your credit card and they could do that striaght away. As has been suggested call your credit card company and they should chase it up on your behalf. It makes me so angry that a so-called reputable high street company can be so insulting to its customers. It makes you think that there is a policy not to return / pay customers their money, either cashback or refunds, using the philosophy that the customer will soon lose interest and not bother.0 -
i bought a 11 months free contract, they said they wil issue cheque within 2 months, its been 4 months now..i rang them they said its coz of chsristmas period. i dont know what to do now???

I was supposed to have direct cashback within 90 days, its now been 135 and counting, still no cashback with OSPS. There direct cashback isnt very direct at all!!0
