Sounds all good with your budgets PaP
You got the CJ yet hon? I'm still staring blankly at this one - although I did have a burst of inspiration about it, and have a feeling it may be fabric inspired.
Hope you're having a good night -I agree about the party thread - goes too quick for my slow brain lol!!!

Yes sea... i am going to try so hard this month (well untill pay day) so far i have only brought glue for my scrapping, my monthly scrap sub and some new stamps (payed for buy ebay stuff) but i wont get those untill the 3rd  cant wait :rotfl:The thing with budgets are they are good untill something goes wrong (as you have found out with your washing machine).
No cj yet. I am getting a tad annoyed now though as it means all the cj's will be 'backed up' if that makes sense so they will take longer to finish. I am itching to see mine complete :rotfl:
Having a good night thanks, watching the final of ladette to lady and then i am off for an early night0 -
I loved Spyro on PS, didn't know it was out on Wii. I like easy games like that :rotfl:

I don't think that it would be safe to let me loose with a Wii, PaP - my experience of 'computer games' goes as far as 'Tetris' (and I'm not very good at that). :rotfl: :rotfl:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Hey Pap
I agree about the party thread too - I say hi, but don't join in much these days because I don't mind a bit of smuttiness, but it's a bit close to the bone (!) at the moment!
Ryan really wants a Wii, but I'm not sure how much use he would get out of it. He also wants a PS3 and a DS lite mind you.
Do you find you use yours a lot?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Same here, snag - I do think that the 'party threads' are actually good for the morale of the board, as they prove that we are real people, but I very rarely join in. I tend to use the 'excuse' that I'm 'not allowed out on a Friday night' although, since they seem to last well into the next week, I can't really say that now.
I don't 'mind' the odd bit of 'smut', but I can see how it could offend some of the more vulnerable posters, so, whilst, on a one-to-one basis, I really do like all of the posters who 'go to these parties' I find the best solution is to 'pop in occasionally' but not very often.
I actually miss the afternoon 'tea parties' that Cattie1 and Anniestar used to host - they were much more 'genteele'.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

I haven't seen Anniestar around much actually - I hope she's okay. I know she's had pretty major computer problems.
The smut doesn't offend me, I'm not easily shocked, but I find it a bit uncomfortable - I think I'm just too married and boring for that sort of thing...:rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

gem, i loved it on psone and 2 however i got the gamecube version and its pants... so i shall see what the wii game is like.
rog, the wii is simple (my mum plays it and beats me  and shes 53 :rotfl:) the easiest games are tennis, bowling and golf. And basiclly you swing the remote to hit the ball ~ thats it ~ simple :rotfl: Its sooo cool... will love wii fit when its out
snaggs/shaggs :rotfl: i know i think its just me as i am a bit 'mature' for my age so its not really my thing ~ even i real life (just ask everyone at the last meet). However i think they exclude a lot of people in that thread... anywyas enough said on that. Regarding the consoles i would opt more for the ds/wiii over the ps3, purely because the latter is aimed at adults with lots of very vilent games imo whereas the wii/ds is a all around family game imo. We regards to using it, i find i use the more active games ie wii sports/wii play/sonic olympics than the 'sit' down games. I prob average 1 1/2 hours a week maybe 2 hours but it depends. I do think you need to limit it though... i knew nothing but my console/s when i was in secondary school
rog,the tea party used to always be on a wednesday afternoon ~ loved them.
sea ~ yep well kinda but i have only 2 days to go so i am not dwelling on it.0 -
The day gets better! i walked in here about 10 min before that post above, halfway through that post my mums boss (the one she works on thurs/fri/sat morning) arives at my house with my mum. Mum was at her other work (morrisons) and they sent her home. Mums boss said she had been caught stealing, when i tryed to talk to mum she butted it, so i came back on here at 7pm she (mums boss) barked at me that i had to make mum a coffee. Now i am being un realistic
i have just walked through the door, they havent asked how i am, i dont know whats wrong with mum and i now have to go and make mum a coffee, when she is big enough and ugly enough to help herself when mum isnt ill
I am now sat her in floods of tears because thats just topped my day off lovely! What is wrong with people... anyways i have shut my door my music is back on load and she can !!!! off... no doubt when she goes mum will speak to me ~ last on her list as usual. grrrr
