Sorry to hear about your TV PAP  Does not sound promising...
If it has died... try freecycle? The cake sound yummy!!
Why is your sister complaining about pressies? And why does that mean you have to fork out £10?I'm confused??

hello gem and taka :hello:
i was brought a new tv for xmas last year but ebayed it. I have had this one since i worked in argos (brought it with my first pay packet). Dont 'do' freecycle as i have had problems with them before but have looked on ebay. I am sure i will be fine you can 'just' see what you are doing but it means no wiii will sort something.
As for the gift i gave it to my sister. She complained she had read the book (i gave here a hamper) so i thought ok i will get you another ~ well luckly i have one she wants here unread. That happend on xmas day. Now today she tells me she has watched the dvds and she want them swaped (its a box set of three). The only problem is i brought them in setember in a sale for £6 and i have no recipete  so it looks like (if she hasnt opened them) i will have to ebay that set and give her £10 for her to buy a new set. Although her hamper contained £10 anyways
i give up i really do ~ all this from a person who never acknoledges my birth let alone gives me a gift0 -

ooooohhh thats got me angry now! ****ing hell ... umm I would be telling her to ebay the dvds/swap with someone else rather than handing over any of your cash. Its the thought that counts. Gaaaahhhhh!! If you feel like getting rid of £10 buy yourself a gift "from her"!!Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Tell her to sod off!!!! In fact, tell her she can eBay them herself, then use the money to buy YOU a present - ungrateful so-and-so!'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0 -
