EDIT: I also should have said, I think the purple ones look lovely.... Going back and looking again, I also think u should charge more for the glittered trees pack too... £1 a card is an injustice really

still torn between pricing my cards, i dont know how to do it? I am going to sit down in a minute and go through a seclection of cards on the site and workout how much they cost me, then i shall stick the details here for you to advise.
right just checked bugets and stuffs and so far i have an 'extra' £80 to put into argos :j i am working on next months budget today and i am hoping that will be the month i clear argos meaning january's pay would be all savings :beer:0 -
Hi pap, have a look at some other card sites or even nip down to the shops and look at what they are charging for what they claim are hand made (yeah, right!) cards. I think you could afford to raise your prices a bit. And it's better to do it at the start before you become more well known. That way people just expect to pay that amount.
Can I also suggest an extra page for your site? How about Customer Comments or Testimonials. By the looks of it, plenty of people here have had some of your cards and would be able to write fabulous stuff about the quality etc. Just an idea.Reality check - hit rock bottom on 15 Dec 2008 with unsecured debts of £29,136 and not enough money to live on
:j NOW DEBT FREE!!!! :jI try to take life one day at a time but sometimes several days attack me at once

Am I the only one who thinks you're undercharging for your lovely cards
No you are not. PaP - it is not difficult to 'cost' your cards;
1. Cost of raw material
2. Cost of Labour (allow minimum of £15.00 per hour)
3. Cost of overheads - all the other things like electric, glue, cost of one-off things such as 'logo' stamps etc.
Allow for 'stock' which is 'dead money'.
Then look to see what the others are charging.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
