thank you, we're supposed to be but it's all up in the air at the moment, our landlord is being difficult and making it hard (financially) for us to leave... but I'm not taking it out of my sig until I know for sure, too depressing otherwise... I should know where we stand by the end of today, if we can't move then it's another six months here and I'll have to be positive about that.

Another 20 something who could list money as a hobby- OH thinks I have a spreadsheet fetish :rolleyes: but at least I feel in control.
Also another cross stitch fan here have been doing it since I was really little and still find time to do some - tend to go through phases. Home made bookmarks are something I'm considering for presents this year. Unlike you I've only just started thinking about Christmas presents - don't think OH is overally impressed as he's a 23rd December shopper but I have a budget, have started putting money away and am planning - thanks to your tip on another thread I'm off to the special occasions board in a minute :TInitial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

yorkie ~ see above, being in control is the best thing. If i cant check all my balances each night i get withdrawal symptoms :rotfl: cant explain it but i love money and how it works... we can be 'sad' together :rotfl: cross stich is great... the problem is lack of time so now i sticth while on hereits a compromise :rotfl: Ohhh xmas shopping through the year is a must... every year i keep at least £90 of decembers pay to hit the sales (usually on my b day) i take a list of whats already in my box and shop for xmas the following year. Last year i came home with about £300 worth of items for £50 :T come and see the xmas thread on the special occasions ~ thats where i got the dvd deal from i am guessing november i shall be finished :j
